Build Strong Artistic Skills with Confidence and Clarity

With training at the Rhode Island School of Design and a lifelong relationship to painting, my work spans oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels and mixed media—and has been exhibited across the Northeast and internationally.

Alongside my studio practice, I teach private lessons and small-group workshops in my Portsmouth NH art studio, helping students of all ages build strong skills and lasting confidence in their work.

FAMILY / One Canvas: A Family Painting Experience
Two Private 2-hr Sessions - $675

Join me for 2 sessions (2 hrs each) with the whole family for a private painting workshop in my bright Portsmouth studio. (Optional home visit at additional cost.) These sessions offer thoughtful, individualized instruction in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Open to all levels. All materials are provided.

This workshop is designed for adults and kids to paint TOGETHER on the same canvas, building a beautiful piece of art that everyone helped create. The final product is a masterpiece, no matter what! Kids are kids, and you know your children best. They will need to abstain from eating the paint or being reckless in the studio. Reach out if you have any questions!

We’ll be recreating one of Monet's iconic water lily paintings. I’ll guide you through color mixing, brushwork, and layering techniques that make this style such an approachable and rewarding place to begin. We’ll work on a large canvas using high quality acrylic paint. Impressionism is one of the most accessible styles to dive into, and this session is designed to help you loosen up, trust your eye, and enjoy the process of painting together.

The workshop flows with a demonstration, followed by guided painting time. Two people paint on the canvas at the same time and rotate turns. I’ll offer feedback, answer questions, and help you problem-solve as you work. We'll have kid-friendly art supplies to use while waiting turns. No pressure, we'll keep things flexible. It'll be a truly memorable experience!
